Mission: Reimagine the ticketing and entry experience at Boston Children’s Museum (BCM).

Design Solutions + Experience Design 

Our solution, illuStation, is a ticketing kiosk designed to make the entry process more efficient, engaging, and streamlined for both parents and children. While parents complete the ticketing process, children stay engaged by creating their own drawings, which are printed as customized tickets—serving as both an interactive activity and a personalized souvenir.

🔍 User-Centered Approach:
  • Conducted interviews with visitors and BCM employees to identify pain points in the existing system.
  • Redesigned kiosk placement and overall entry flow to improve efficiency and user experience.

This project combined UX research, service design, and creative engagement strategies to make museum entry more seamless and memorable for families.
